Superhero Super allows you to invest in a range of Diversified, Single Sector, Thematic and Direct Investment options.

You can choose one or multiple investment options, however, a minimum of 25% of your balance must be invested across the Diversified or Single Sector investment option/s.

If you'd like to leave your investments to the professionals, our Diversified Options offer a mix of asset classes across Australian and International shares, property, fixed interest and cash.

If you'd like to have a greater level of control** over your investments, our Direct Investments option allows you to invest in shares listed in the S&P/ASX300 Index, and a range of ETFs, LICs and Hybrid with all of the order types, live data and news offered in the Superhero share trading platform.

Diversified, Single Sector and Thematic investments provide a various range of investment strategies and investment exposures for members.

Diversified: our Diversified Investment Options include High Growth, Growth, Moderate and Conservative. These investment options invest in a mixture of growth and defensive assets across most asset classes, including Australian and international shares, property, fixed interest and cash.

Single Sector: our Single Sector Investment Options include Australian Shares, International Shares, Diversified Shares, Australian Listed Property, Australian Fixed Interest, International Fixed Interest (hedged) and Cash. These investment options are focused on a single asset class for members who wish to have a higher allocation to specific asset classes.

Thematic: our Thematic Investment Options include a range of ETFs targeted towards a particular investment theme. These options include U.S. Tech Giants, Asia Tech Tigers, Global Healthcare, Aussie Sustainability Leaders, Global Sustainability Leaders (unhedged), Global Sustainability Leaders (hedged) and Gold.

There are three key factors you should consider when you choose an investment option for your super:

1. How long you're investing for (in other words, how far you are from retirement).
2. Whether you'd like to actively manage your investment options or let the professionals handle it.
3. How comfortable you are with risk and balancing risk with potential returns.

Members who don't want to actively manage their investments may want to look at our Diversified Investment Options, while those who want to take a higher degree of control over their super portfolio may wish to invest in Direct Investments, which include shares listed in the S&P/ASX300 index, as well as a range of ETFs, LICs and Hybrids.
